On February 24, 2009 the NYC City Council (meeting details) met for the second time to discuss three new proposed laws to control the increasing bed bug problem in NYC New York Daily News Article.I attended the meeting along with Ralph Maestre BCE our Board Certified Entomologist (pictured with Kitty Lee of Residex, Dr. Bobby Corigan of the Dept. of Health and Walter Blohm of NYC PPCA). The experts that testified all agreed that a task force should be formed to study the procedures required to combat this fast spreading epdemic.
